COMPLETE ENLIGHTENMENT SÙTRA

I heard like this:

At one time, Buddha Entered the Right-Meditation named Great Light Treasure of Ubiquitous Supernatural Power. That treasure is the place that keeps brilliantly the solemnity of all Buddhas, and also the Nature-of- Enlightenment-Wisdom– which is very transparent and pure of all kinds of beings. Buddha Entered this Right-Meditation, so his Body and Mind were very quiet, identical with the ubiquitous universe nature, which means to be consistent with Non-Duality. This Non-Duality represents Pure world where Buddha and Ten Thousand  Mahàsatvas with the leaders such as Manjusri Bodhisatva, Samantabhadra Bodhisatva, Universal Vision Bodhisatva, Vajragarbha Bodhisatva, Maitreya Bodhisatva, Pure Wisdom Bodhisatva, Power and Virtue Unhindered Bodhisatva, Voice of Discernment Bodhisatva, Purifier of All Karmic Hindrances Bodhisatva, Universal Enlightenment Bodhisatva, Perfect Enlightenment Bodhisatva and Most Excellent of Worthies Bodhisatva; these Bodhisatvas and their entourage, entered the  Right-Meditation, so they joined the Equal-Dharma-Congress of Buddha.

CHAPTER 05 – MAITREYA

At that time, Maitreya Bodhisatva was among The mass, from his seat stood up, then worshiped with his forehead as high as Buddha’s feet, according to right tendency of Buddha, walked around Buddha three times, kneeled straight, joined his hands and said:

Buddha with great compassion, YOU have widely opened The Secret Treasure for the Bodhisatvas, make The Mass be deeply Awake and Enlightened about Samsara, and discriminate between The Confusion and The Accuracy. YOU have given people in the final period Enlightenment eyes no longer afraid, make them arise fixed trust towards great Nirvana, no longer according to Samsara emerging rotating knowledge. Dear Buddha, if the Bodhisatvas, and people in the final period, want to travel in the great quiet sea of Buddha, how can they destroy to the Basis of Samsara? How many Levels are there in Samsara? How many Seed Natures are there in conducting Buddha Enlightenment Wisdom? When back, returning to the dusty, tiring place, how many means must be used to transform the perception of satvas to save them? Please do not renounce great compassion saving humans, please make the conductors, who are the Bodhisatvas and subsequent generations, have Pure Illuminative Enlightenment-Wisdom Eyes, have illuminative Citta-mind standing mirror, completely fully awake and enlightened about the Supreme Seeing and Understanding of Buddha.

After announciating, Maitreya Bodhisatva put his five body parts on the ground to worship Buddha. Bodhisatva made that request three times in that posture respectfully, after each time of request he started over again.

Then, Buddha taught Maitreya Bodhisatva:

It’s great, Good Son, for other Bodhisatvas, and the subsequent generations, you ask Tathàgata about refined deep, esoteric meaning, to make the Bodhisatvas clean Enlightenment- Wisdom eyes, and make subsequent generations completely eliminate Samsara and Awaken-Citta of True Form by No-birth Enlightenment-Wisdom. You should listen carefully, Tathagàta will expound.

Maitreya Bodhisatva felt glad and together with The mass listened quitely.

Buddha taught:

Good Son, from Without Beginning to now, satvas because of having all kinds of Love- Desire so having Samsara. All kinds of satvas in all kinds of world, are born by egg, in pregnancy, by low-birth, by transformation, all because of sexuality that is the main force creating life. So, knowing The Basic Root of Samsara is Love. Love is supported by Desire causes continuous Birth-Death: Desire is from Love, Life is from Desire; Satvas love Life so they return to love Desire, Love-Desire is the Cause, Love-Life is the Effect.

As for the Facing Scene of Desire that develops Opposition or Liking-Application. For the Facing Scene contrary to Love, there is opposition by hatred, causing all kinds of bad karmas, which is why there are Hell, Ghosts, Animals. Knowing Craving is despicable, Loving the hatred of the three paths of bad karmas, hating bad karmas and preferring good karmas, so there are Devakaya, Humankind. Knowing all Love is despicable, hating Love and like the Leaving of Love, that means still back to increase the Root of Love, so there are better Good effects, and are still created by Karmas, so all are the wheel of births and deaths, not a path of Awakeners.

So, if satvas want to escape the wheel of Births and Deaths, they must first destroy Desire and Love. And Bodhisatvas are born in Samsara not from Love but from Loving-Kindness and Compassion, only want to help satvas leave Love, so use Desire to return to Samsara. People in the final period leave Desire, destroy Love including the hatred of and preference for it, will destroy Samsara permanently, by industriously wishing to practise the Complete Enlightenment that Tathagàta realizes and is enlightened about, then to that Transparent Citta-Nature they will be enlightened.

Good Son, satvas due to Love-Desire developing Ignorance form Five different Seed-Natures, and due to the Two Hindrances indicate depth-shallowness. What are the Two Hindrances? One is Hindrance to Truth, Hindrance to Seeing and Knowing exactly. The other is Hindrance to Practice, continuing the wheel of Births and Deaths. What are the Five Seed-Natures? If both of the hindrances are not Destroyed, then are called Those who have not become Buddhas. If permanently removing Love-Desire, destroying Hindrance to Practice, but not destroying Hindrance to Truth, then only enter Sravakas, Pratyeka-Buddhas, have not entered Bodhisatvas. If wanting to join the great Sea of Great Complete Enlightenment that Tathagàta realizes and is enlightened about, should previously have determination and make efforts to destroy the Two Hindrances. When the Two Hindrances are conquered, will enter Bodhisatvas – and when the Two Hindrances are destroyed permanently, will enter Tathagàta’s Complete Enlightenment, completely full Mahabodhi and Great Nirvana. All satvas have the potential to realize and are enlightened about Complete Enlightenment, but meet Good Master and Friends, and Conduct according to their Preliminary Basic Act Dharma, so that conducting appears  seamlessly and gradually – If meeting Tathagàta leads the exact conduct-practice path of Supreme Enlightenment-Wisdom, regardless of the high-low level, Buddha Attainment is achieved. If someone who is also looking for Good Master and Friends, but meets people who have the False Knowledge, that person is not enlightened accurately, is called Seed-Nature of Tìrthya, and it is the fault of wrong Master and Friends, not his own fault. Thus they are called Five different Seed-Natures of satvas.

Good Son, Bodhisatvas only keep Great Compassion as the Means to enter Samsara World, open and develop for those who have not been awake. Manifesting the body with all kinds of forms, all kinds of situations with all favorable and unfavorable things, manifesting the same nature and environment as theirs to teach them to become Buddha. All this manifestation is the full strength of Great Vow starting from Great Compassion.

People in the final period, if emerging Greater Ciita-Determination towards Great Complete Enlightenment, must arise Great Transparent Vow of Bodhisatva. Should say like this: We wish to enter Buddha’s Complete Enlightenment, find and meet Good Acàrya and Friends, not to meet Tìrthya and The Two Vehicles. Then based on Great Vow like this to conduct-practice, will gradually destroy the Two Hindrances. When the Two Hindrances are completely destroyed, Great Vow will be wholeness, can reach The Transparent Hall of Great Liberation, enter the Magnificent Castle of Great Complete Enlightenment.

Buddha would like to repeat the expounded meaning so he said the following words:

Maitreya Bodhisatva should know,
Satvas cannot reach
Great Liberation
Because of Love-Desire
Are made to fall into
The wheel of Births and Deaths
If destroying Love-Desire
Including preference and hatred
Of that Love-Desire
Which is Desire-Anger-Ignorance,
Regardless of
Divergent Seed-Natures,
All can still have
Enlightenment-Wisdom of Buddha.
If wanting to destroy permanently
the Two Hindrances,
Should look for and meet
Worthy Master,
Will achieve
Exact Enlightenment,
In agreement with Great Vow
Of Bodhisatvas,
And then Dwell in
Great Nirvàna.
Bodhisatvas use
Great Compassion Great Vow,
Manifesting to enter The wheel of Births and Deaths.
Conductors
In the present,
And Conductors
In the final period,
If making effort
To destroy Thoughts of Love,
Will be back
to Great Complete Enlightenment ./.
