COMPLETE ENLIGHTENMENT SÙTRA

I heard like this:

At one time, Buddha Entered the Right-Meditation named Great Light Treasure of Ubiquitous Supernatural Power. That treasure is the place that keeps brilliantly the solemnity of all Buddhas, and also the Nature-of- Enlightenment-Wisdom which is very transparent and pure of all kinds of beings. Buddha Entered this Right-Meditation, so his Body and Mind were very quiet, identical with the ubiquitous universe nature, which means to be consistent with Non-Duality. This Non-Duality represents Pure world where Buddha and Ten Thousand Mahàsatvas with the leaders such as Manjusri Bodhisatva, Samantabhadra Bodhisatva, Universal Vision Bodhisatva, Vajragarbha Bodhisatva, Maitreya Bodhisatva, Pure Wisdom Bodhisatva, Power and Virtue Unhindered Bodhisatva, Voice of Discernment Bodhisatva, Purifier of All Karmic Hindrances Bodhisatva, Universal Enlightenment Bodhisatva, Perfect Enlightenment Bodhisatva and Most Excellent of Worthies Bodhisatva; these Bodhisatvas and their entourage, entered the Right-Meditation, so they joined the Equal-Dharma-Congress of Buddha.

CHAPTER 04 – VAJRAGARBHA

At that time, Vajragarbha Bodhisatva was among The mass, from his seat stood up, then worshiped with his forehead as high as Buddha’s feet, according to the right tendency of Buddha, walked around Buddha three times, kneeled straight, joined his hands and said:

“Buddha with great compassion”, for the sake of the Bodhisatvas, You have Lauded The Great Dhàrani- Complete Enlightenment to be Your Preliminary Basis, and taught the Hierarchical Means to Conduct-Practice That Great Dhàrani. You have Opened and Destroyed obscurity for satvas. Everyone in this Congress thanks to obeying-comprehending Your Educative-Example Compassion dissipate Illusion Membrane, Enligtenment-Wisdom Eyes are Transparent and Bright. Buddha, if satvas are naturally Buddhas, why is there Ignorance? If Ignorance is inherent in Satvas, Why Buddha say satvas are naturally Buddhas? If satvas are naturally Buddha, then emerging Ignorance, when will all Buddhas arise Distress again? Buddha, please do not renounce noble compassion which does not stop anyone, for the sake of Bodhisatvas please Open and Show them the Secret Complete Enlightenment Treasure, and make subsequent generations hearing Complete Enlightenment Sùtra containing the whole meaning end all doubts.

After saying, Vajragarbha Bodhisatva put his five body parts on the ground to worship Buddha. Bodhisatva made that request three times in that posture respectfully, after each time of request he started over again.

Then, Buddha taught Vajragarbha Bodhisatva:

Very well, Good Son, for the sake of other Bodhisatvas, and subsequent generations, You ask Tathàgata about Complete Enlightenment very deep and the Ultimate end of it. That Complete Enlightenment is The Supreme Teaching and Mahayana-Containing The Whole Meaning conveyed to Bodhisatvas, capable of making Bodhisatvas in the Ten Directions that are still Conducting-learning, and everyone in the final period, have unshakable Faith, entirely eliminate doubts. You should listen carefully, Tathàgata will expound.

Vajragarbha felt glad and together with The mass listened quietly.

Buddha taught:

Good Son, Satvas and The World of Satvas, Opening or Ending, Arising or Terminating, Before or After, Existence or Emptiness, Coming Together or Disintegrating, Emerging or Stopping, these Forms occur one after another continuously right in each time unit just as the quick emergence or the quick transformation of Thinking, moving back and forth seamlessly, getting and leaving in all ways, all are the wheel of Births and Deaths. Not having overcome such wheel of Births and Deaths but talking about Complete Enlightenment, The Nature of that Complete Enlightenment is also Samsara-Nature, so it’s nonsense to aspire to escape Samsara. Things are compared to dizziness, Water is still but see that it is Shaking, think that it is shaking, tired eyes see that  the spinning Fire is a Circle, see that the moving Clouds are The running Moon, see that the Gliding Boat is the moving Bank ,…Rotating  states of such Seeing, if they are not Suspended, but want all that Are Seen to Stop Moving first, that Wish Cannot be carried out, much less Mind_Citta of the wheel of Births and Deaths has not been made Transparent, then when looking at Tathàgata’s Complete Enlightenment how can stop the Rotating seeing? That is the Reasons for the Confusion of your three questions.

Good Son, it’s like the diseased eye that has membrane, so it sees that Space has Blur Spot. When eye membrane disease has healed permanently, should not ask when that lost eye membrane will reappear, since the eye and eye membrane do not go together. Moreover, Blur Spot disappeared in Space, at that time should not ask when Space will reproduce Blur Spot, since Space is naturally without Blur Spot, for Space Original Nature is not Appearance or  Disappearance. Birth-Death and Nirvana are just like The Appearance or Disappearance of Blur Spot, and Complete Enlightenment is naturally Without Blur Spot and Eye Membrane. Must know that Space does not exist temporarily, nor does it does disappear temporarily, much less Complete Enlightenment that Tathagàta Realizes and is Enlightened about is the Equal Original Nature of Dharmas in which there is Space.

Good Son, like Refining the Gold ore, it is not thanks to the refining process that Gold can be Gold, and Gold refined into Pure Gold Never  becomes Ore again, no matter how much time passes  that Pure Gold is not damaged. So we cannot say Gold is not naturally Gold …Complete Enlightenment that Tathagàta Realizes and is Enlightened about is similar.

Good Son, Complete Enlightenment that Tathagàta Realizes and is Enlightened about is naturally without Bodhi and Nirvana, naturally without Becoming Buddhas or Not Becoming Buddhas, naturally without Rounds of Rebirths and  Not Being Rounds of Rebirths. Good Son, the Complete Achievement of Sravakas is to destroy all Body-Citta  Language, but never reach Complete Enlightenment that Tathagàta Himself  Realizes and is Enlightened about, much less Mind-Citta  Thinking, how can it measure That Complete Enlightenment? Using the flame of the Firefly to burn Mount Sumeru is impossible: using the Samsara Mind-Citta that generate Samsara Knowledge and wishing to Enter the Great Calm Quiet Sea of Tathagàta is impossible. For this reason, Tathagàta says that all Bodhisatvas, and subsequent generations, the first thing to do is to eliminate the Roots of Samsara.

Good son, Thinking arises from Citta-Consciousness, That Thinking is all Illusion clinging to the Six Scenes, not authentic Citta Nature. That Thinking is like Blur Spot, Using that Thinking hoping to achieve Complete Enlightenment that Tathagàta Realizes and is Enlightened about is no different from Blur Spot Flowers in Space producing Blur Spot Fruits: Illusion produces Illusion, it is impossible to achieve Complete Enlightenment. Good son, Illusion has a lot of very Smart Knowledge, cannot be a means of Complete Enlightenment. So your analyzing method does not raise the matter properly.

Buddha would like to repeat the expounded meaning so He said the following words:

Vajragarbha,
Should know Original Nature
Complete Enlightenment that is Quiet
that Tathagàta realizes and is enlightened about
is naturally without Beginning
And without Ending either
Using Samsara-Citta
to Think of Complete Enlightenment,
is Round of Rebirths,
Only to Samara,
Not comprehend the sea
that is calm and quiet of Buddha.
Like Refining the Gold Ore
Gold is not from Refining
To be Gold,
Gold is naturally Gold,
But has to be refined
to become Pure Gold;
When Gold is Refined from the Ore
and has become Pure Gold,
it will never again
become ore again.
Samsara – Nirvàna
Satvas – Buddhas
All are Blur Spot
In the Space.
The Thinking
Is like Illusion,
how can continue to use
That Thinking
To Question
Other Illusory things.
If understanding
That Thinking
After that can hope
To enter Complete Enlightenment./.
