COMPLETE ENLIGHTENMENT SÙTRA : II CHAPTER _ SAMANTABHADRA BODHISATVA

COMPLETE ENLIGHTENMENT SÙTRA

I heard like this:

At one time, Buddha Entered the Right-Meditation named Great Light Treasure of Ubiquitous Supernatural Power. That treasure is the place that keeps brilliantly the solemnity of all Buddhas, and also the Nature-of- Enligtenment-Wisdom which is very transparent and pure of all kinds of beings. Buddha Entered this Right-Meditation, so his Body and Mind were very quiet, identical with the ubiquitous universe nature, which means to be consistent with Non-Duality. This Non-Duality represents Pure world where Buddha and Ten Thousand  Mahàsattvas with the leaders such as Manjusri Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Universal Vision Bodhisattva, Vajragarbha Bodhisattva, Maitreya Bodhisattva, Pure Wisdom Bodhisattva, Power and Virtue Unhindered Boddhisattva, Voice of Discernment Bodhisattva, Purifier of All Karmic Hindrances Bodhisattva, Universal Enlightenment Bodhisattva, Perfect Enlightenment Bodhisattva and Most Excellent of Worthies Bodhisattva; these Bodhisattvas and their entourage, entered the  Right-Meditation, so they joined the Equal-Dharma-Congress of Buddha.

II . CHAPTER : SAMANTABHADRA BODHISATVA

At that time, Samantabhadra Bodhisatva was among The mass, from his seat stood up, then worshiped with his forehead as high as Buddha’s feet, according to the right tendency of Buddha, walked around Buddha three times, kneeled straight, joined his hands and said:

Buddha with great compassion, for the Bodhisatvas joining this Dharma Congress, and for Mahàyàna conductors in the final period, could You teach them to know, when hearing pure Complete Enlightenment how to Conduct – Practice: If they know all are Illusion, the Body and Mind are also Illusion, how to use Illusion to Conduct and Practice Illusion? If Illusion is really the Elimination of all, the Body and the Mind are also Nothing, so Who is the Conductor-Practitioner to say that Conduct-Practice are also like Illusion? If Conduct-Practice is also Nothing, it means satvas Do Not Conduct-Practice, immersing themselves in the Illusory Scenes of the World of the Wheel of Births-and-Deaths forever, unable to Deeply Understand Illusion Truth, how can they leave Misconception Thinking?
I also would like to ask Buddha respectively to teach subsequent generations by which Means to conduct to enter the Right-Meditation As Illusion and in what order to Leave Illusion Forever?

After saying, Samantabhadra Bodhisatva put his five body parts on the ground to worship Buddha. Bodhisatva made that request three times in that posture respectfully, after each time of request he started over again.

Then, Buddha taught Samantabhadra Bodhisatva:
It’s great, Good son, for Bodhisatvas and subsequent generations, you ask  Tathagàta how to Conduct with Means and what is the Order of the Right-Meditation As Illusion to leave Illusion? You should listen carefully, Tathagàta will expound.

Samantabhadra Bodhisatva felt glad and together with the Mass listened quietly.

Buddha taught:
Good son, all satvas’ Illusion starts from the place of Complete Enlightenment — at the place of the wonderful Citta that Tathagàta Realizes and is Enlightened about, similar to Blur Spots in the Space. Illusory Blur Spots terminate, but the Space Does Not Terminate: Illusory Ignorance terminates because of Illusory Body-Mind, Illusion terminates but Complete Enlightenment is immovable. Saying Complete Enlightenment as opposed to Illusion, that Complete Enlightenment is also Illusory; saying Complete Enlightenment is Existence, it still belongs to the category of Illusion, saying Complete Enlightenment is Inexistence is the same. Eliminating Illusion is Immovable Complete Enlightenment. Therefore, all Bodhisatvas and subsequent generations have to Leave all Illusion.

But obdurately holding to the Perception of Leaving, this Perception of Leaving must be Left, too. The Leaving of this Perception of Leaving must be Left. And The Leaving of this Leaving must also be Left. Nothing to Leave, all Illusion terminates. For example, a person pulls sticks to make fire, two sticks are rubbed repeatedly together, the fire is ignited, so both sticks are burnt, they burn until the smoke slowly disappears, ash flies too: using Illusion to eliminate Illusion is also like that. And Illusion disappears completely but that Practice doesn’t enter The Wrong Knowledge Claiming that everything totally disappears.

Good son, Knowing Illusion is leaving Illusion, Without any other Ways; That Illusion is Left is Pure Complete Enlightenment, without Order. Bodhisatvas, and subsequent generations, Base on the above direction to Conduct-Practice will Leave Illusion Forever.

Buddha would like to repeat the expounded meaning so he said the following words:

Samantabhadra should know,
Illusory Ignorance.
exists at the place of
Complete Enlightenment Wonderful Citta,
Similar to Blur Spots
Existing in the Space,
Blur Spots Terminate
Immovable Space;
Illusion starts
at the place of Complete Enlightenment,
Illusion Terminates
Complete Enlightenment is full,
Because of Complete Enlightenment
Immovable Original Nature.
So all Bodhisatvas
and subsequent generations
must Leave
all Illusion.
Illusion is Left
like a person
pulling sticks to make fire
fire ignites and sticks burn
sticks are completely burnt
Fire no longer exists
Complete Enlightenment is Without
any Means
and Order./.
